Using The Cuchara Chapel

Since 1949, the Cuchara Chapel has been hosting Church Services every Sunday from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Services are scheduled at 11:00 on Sunday Morning, with a 9:30 service added on the last weekend of June.

And our Christmas Eve Services are quickly becoming a tradition for Cuchara Valley residents and visitors alike.

Weddings

The Cuchara Chapel has been a special place for those special wedding vows for nearly as long as the Cuchara Chapel has stood in Cuchara. Couples with family ties to the valley or who have come to love Cuchara have found the Chapel to be the perfect place to commit to a life together.

Anniversaries

The Cuchara Chapel is the perfect place for couples to renew their vows and celebrate their years together with family and friends in attendance.

Memorial Services

And for those who have lost loved ones, the Chapel is a place of sanctuary, with memories of those lives we have touched. Family members with a long history in the Cuchara Valley find that having a service here helps bring peace and comfort in a place so well loved by everyone.

Receptions

Members of the Cuchara Association may schedule wedding receptions, anniversary parties, and other events at the Cuchara Recreation Center.  The Cuchara Chapel is not connected with the Recreation Center, except to refer those individuals who wish to use the facility. Additional information concerning the Cuchara Recreation Center is available on the Cuchara Association website – www.cuchara.us.
